Company Profile

Stabilizing Aerial Loads Utility System

Improving the intersection of emergency response, air transportation, and healthcare and medicine.

SALUS is an R&D company dedicated to improving the intersection of emergency response, air transportation, and healthcare and medicine, through the application of flywheel mechanics and active control mechanisms.

Our core team includes three Army aviators who have personally experienced the challenges involved with conducting hoist operations. Efforts to develop an operationally feasible device designed to mitigate spin instability began in earnest at Georgia Tech in 2015. Ongoing collaboration with the US Army, FedTech, Spaceworks and other partners has ensured rapid development and testing in preparation for a 2021 market roll-out.
